Version 1.3.2 is now available in the app store. Due to popular demand I’ve changed the name of the app to “ATV Trails: Where U Ride At?” in order to make it easier to find in the app store. I’ve also changed the display name of the app in the store to ATV Trails so that the name isn’t truncated.
Version 1.3.1, which includes th patch to fix the bug found in version 1.3, is now ready for download from the app store. Please update asap to receive the patch. Thanks again for all the feedback, which allowed me to quickly find and correct the issue.
Thanks to user feedback, a bug was brought to my attention this morning causing the latest version of the app to crash when you click the ‘+’ button to add a place to the map. I have identified the bug and submitted a patch to the store for review. Hopefully it will be approved in a timely fashion. I’ll make another announcement when it has been accepted so everyone can update to version 1.3.1. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Version 1.3 is finished and I’ll be testing it out this weekend before submitting it to the store. As long as I don’t run across any bugs, it should be up for review by Monday.
Version 1.2 was approved today and moved into the AppStore so be sure to update and check out the new features. Work on Version 1.3 is already underway!
Version 1.2 was submitted for review on Oct. 30th. Unfortunately for some, this update will require you to have at least iPhone OS 4.0. This does NOT mean you have to have a new iPhone 4. You will just need to update your phones software using iTunes if you haven’t already done so.
I finished adding new features to version 1.2 today. I’m testing it now and will be submitting it to the app store for review by the end of the weekend.
Just to let everyone know, I haven’t abandoned this app. I’m still working to get the 1.2 update ready for release. I ran into some roadblocks, which would prevent users without the latest iPhone 4.2 software update from being able to enjoy the new features. So I’ve had to work around that but I’m making progress. Please bear with me as it shouldn’t be too much longer.
One of the features I’m planning for version 2.2 will be event posting. If you know of an event being held at a place you can add it to the app for advertisement. I’m also trying to implement a way to add places to the map without either having to be at the place or know the GPS coordinates. Pinching to zoom, and then dropping a pin at the location is the method I’m shooting for. Feel free to let me know if you have any requests or suggestions for the next release.
